Why We Started The Mabry Collective
We have both spent our careers on the inside.
Angelica has spent nearly 15 years inside customer success organizations at high-growth SaaS and EdTech companies – not advising from the outside, but building from within. Renewal infrastructure. Scaled team models. AI documentation systems. The operational work that determines whether a CS org actually functions at scale.
Stephan has spent his career at the intersection of healthcare technology and clinical reality – logging more than 1,000 hours of direct observation across 70+ health systems, building enterprise architecture for large healthcare organizations, and publishing research on the gaps between what healthcare technology promises and what it actually delivers.
From the inside, you see things you cannot see from a distance.
You see organizations investing in expensive technology while the humans doing the work are still stuck in broken processes. You see sophisticated strategies that look great in a boardroom and fall apart in execution. You see the gap between what gets measured and what actually matters to the people on the ground.
That is why we started The Mabry Collective.
Not because the world needs another advisory firm. But because the best advisory work – the kind that actually changes how an organization operates – comes from people who have been in the room. Not just studied it. Not just consulted on it from a safe distance. Been in it.
Good advisory work starts with the real problem, not the presenting one. It requires caring about outcomes for the people doing the work, not just the metrics at the top. And it requires the kind of hard-won pattern recognition that only comes from having built things, broken things, and rebuilt them better.
That is what we are bringing to this practice.
Stephan is currently accepting Healthcare IT and AI advisory engagements. If you are navigating a technology decision in a complex, regulated environment – or trying to build AI systems that clinicians can actually trust – reach out.
Angelica joins the practice full-time in fall 2026. If you are building a CS operations function and want to start that conversation early, the door is open now.
We are glad you found us.
